Beginners guide to AI and how it can help you in your daily lives
I am pretty sure you recently heard of the new extraordinary AI apps that can write you an essay, make a logo for you or make your pictures magical.
But where do you find them? How to use them? And what added value do they have for you?
The internet nowadays is a beautiful place but kinda tricky. |There is a lot of false information going around and viruses, so I thought I can make your life a bit easier when it gets to searching for some reliable AI sources and post them in this blog together with the information that can benefit you.
AI stands for Artificial Inteligence
Practically these AI apps learned to read the internet. All the internet.
Chat GPT
This is a website page where you log in, quite similar to Google translate but instead of translating the text if you describe what you want, the algorithm will write it for you from scratch!
Like imagine, you now don't have to spend 10 hours writing a blog😅
Just write the oldest building in the world and its description, the best diet for someone who exercises, or the most instagrammable locations in The Netherlands… press enter, and Voila! Work done in 5-10 seconds.
And yes you can also cheat on your thesis with this, it’s practically untraceable.

Chat GPT Plus - $20/mo (availability, faster response, and priority to new features)
Lensa AI
Lensa is the best AI app at the moment that makes your picture look like a fantasy movie. You have to add 10-20 pics of you and choose the style you want and they do it for you.
Time: they say 15-20 mins, the first time it took 3-4 hours, and the second time it was a lot faster. The good part is that the app runs in the background so you don’t have to stay in the app for that long, you get a notification when it’s ready.
Tip: upload portraits and good-quality pictures so it can focus on your face and generate the best content.
Cost: 30€ / Mo for the app with a 7-day trial
Extra cost: for every 100 generated photos you pay an extra 3,5€ per set
Midjourney
Feeling artsy without the will to learn Photoshop? This app is for you 😅 .
Midjourney is one of the best AI art generators widely available for common users in 2022. This tool is great for creating abstract or surrealistic images. It's also really easy to use, so it's perfect for anyone who wants to create art without having to put in too much effort.
It’s a bit tricky to use and has a programmer's webpage feel so you need to spend a bit of time to understand it but they also have a chat where you can communicate with your peers and share art.
How to use it?
Midjourney is currently working as a bot on a chat app called Discord, by direct messaging the bot. Therefore, it is a bit of a learning journey to get started if you are not very familiar with these tools. Hope the quick steps below will help you:
Cost:
Free Plan (limited to 25 generations)
Basic Plan $10 / Month (200 generations/month)
Standard Plan $30 / Month (unlimited generations)

You actually can also do your brand image or logo with the help of this app… well for a very fair price.
You are welcome! 🤓
LuminarAI
Luminar AI is the first image editor fully powered by artificial intelligence.
Luminar AI is only available for desktops and costs 149€ for lifetime purchase or 99€ / Mo.
Luminar is actually one of my favorite apps and I have been using it before the whole AI trend started, it was a massive help in editing my photography. Not only do they have great presets and editing features, but you can also easily remove people from your photos or unwanted objects.
LuminarAI is not an app for beginners though, it’s more for professional photographers and editors.
