Dijon
The city of mustard ! Not really known nor popular.
A beautiful city with a wonderful story.
People here are quite nice and can speak good English.
Make sure to include in your visit the 2 mustard shops Maison Maille and Edmond Fallot. Maille is the most popular, kinda pricey, but an experience in itself with many incredible products and this is one of a few places where you can get freshly poured mustard from tap.
What impressed me at Dijon was the night life! Around their local market Les halles de Dijon, the city is vibrating at night! The whole place is packed with cozy restaurants and wine bars.
For dinner or lunch I can only recommend you Le Chanoine! Very central, so central we were sure it would be bad. Well, we had a surprise! Food was fast and delicious, the staff was very pleasant and we were 2 satisfied clients.
Be very careful with restaurants in France! They usually keep open only for lunch and dinner. If you skipped lunch hours like me, pfft it's gonna be hell finding something good open. This one was open so it kind of saved us.
I myself am a pretty practical person because life is short so this is it! I am going to attach a few more pretty photos and you can find more highlights and beautiful adventures on my Instagram!
See you and happy exploring!
